We have attended University continuing education courses in Fresh-Cut Food Quality and Safety. Completed HACCP: A Food Safety System through the University of California UC Davis Extension. Our Manager of Food Safety has also completed the training course for the Food Safety Preventative Controls Alliance.
In 2016 we completed our first third party Primus GFS audit with a final score of 97/100. In 2017 we enlisted the auditing services of World Quality Services(WQS). Continuing to use the Primus GFS standards we have passed each annual audit to date with scores above 97/100. (2017-98/100, 2018-99/100 and our final score for 2019 is 99/100)
With the growing interest in organic produce we have started to process for certification as an organic processor.
